High-Capacity Touch-Free Nugget Ice and Water
The HID 525 is the Meridian™ Series workhorse for busy offices, healthcare facilities, and high-traffic breakrooms. Touch-free infrared dispensing delivers fresh water and Scotsman's famous chewable H² Nugget Ice without anyone touching the machine, and SmoothStream™ water dispensing keeps the unit and surrounding area clean. With the industry's smallest operational footprint relative to capacity, it produces up to 500 lbs of soft, satisfying ice per day with 25 lbs of built-in storage.
Touch-Free Dispensing
Infrared sensors dispense ice and water without anyone touching the machine, eliminating a common cross-contamination point in shared spaces. A user-controlled antimicrobial push-button option is also available.
Built-In Antimicrobial Protection
AgION® and other antimicrobial compounds are molded into key components to help inhibit the growth of microbes, bacteria, mold, and algae, while a sealed refrigeration system minimizes outside airborne contamination.
