Water For People: School Sanitation Initiative

charity: water's local partner, Water For People, is hard at work. Progress to date:

  • Two piped water systems serving 1,200+ people, now complete
  • 188 improved school toilets providing safe, private sanitation
  • 19 dedicated spaces for menstrual hygiene management
  • Learning exchange with 11 private water system operators

School Water Point & Sanitation Project

At the start of 2026, the BNCF pledged $70,000 to charity: water for a school water point and sanitation project in Bangladesh, our third consecutive donation to this incredible organization. We look forward to sharing progress updates as the project gets underway!
